Park Players is a theatre group for young people of secondary school age, run by young people. It was reestablished in 2005 after almost 10 years absence. A group of friends decided that while there were other theatre groups in the local area, many were very exclusive and very expensive. It was decided to reestablish Park Players, with the aim to make it availible to all those who wished to participate. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and we donate a large percentage of our profits to charities chosen by our members, in addition to fundraising through singing during the festive season in aid of Quarriers. We typically stage two shows a year. Our winter show is always a pantomime. Have a look at our Shows page to see what we've been up to! The Summer show has evolved to become a musical production.
